Israel's attacks on Gaza were protested at EMU

Palestinian students studying at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) on Thursday protested Israel's attack on Gaza.

EMU Vice Rector for Social and Cultural Affairs Assoc. Dr. Deniz İşçioğlu participated in the protest in EMU as students chant slogans with banners.

According to the information given by the university, Assoc. Dr. İşçioğlu said, “As the EMU Rector's Office, we deeply share the pain of our Palestinian students. We wish God's mercy to those who lost their lives in the attacks, and urgent recovery to those who were injured.

With these events, we understood once again how important universal peace is, ”he said.

EMU Arts and Sciences Faculty, Physics Department academic staff member and TRNC-Palestine Society President Prof. Dr. Omar Mustafa stated that as the Palestinian people, they will continue to defend the Masjid al-Aqsa, which represents the honor, honor and dignity of the Muslims in the world.

Mustafa said, “We will continue to resist until the end of our breath, until the last drop of our blood. Everyone should know that Jerusalem is the holy and eternal capital of the Palestinian state. "We will continue our resistance and uprising until we reach this goal," he said.
