University workers in the TRNC to be vaccinated soon

Efforts to start face-to-face education in the coming semester in universities in the TRNC is in top gear as government complete preparation on vaccination all those working in the sector.

On Friday, last week, YODAK President Prof. Dr. Turgay Avcı announced that the vaccination of all personnel working in universities has started.

In his written statement, Turgay Avcı stated that YODAK's efforts to achieve face-to-face education in September 2021 have reached an important stage with the sensitivity and contributions of the TRNC Government.

While the efforts to start face-to-face education in September 2021 continue, Avcı stated that with a letter sent by the TRNC Ministry of Health to YODAK and sent to all universities, identification and listing studies were initiated to start vaccination.

“At the end of the year, we will all see the gain and importance of this initiative, which we have emphasized over and over again, within the framework of the academic quality and the importance of face-to-face education for our universities to achieve a sustainable operation with their environment.

We would like to express our happiness in finding solutions to the problems and difficulties of higher education together with our stakeholders, with a participatory and effective governance approach.”
