Loud explosion happened in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Port (photos)

 A loud explosion was heard in Dubai early on Thursday morning. 

The explosion was said to be near Dubai’s Jebel Ali. 

A social site called “Lovin Dubai” shared a video clip of the explosion.

Dubai Media Office said, “Dubai Civil Defence teams are currently dealing with a fire caused by the explosion of a container on board a ship in Jebel Ali Port.”

Emergency authorities said that two fire trucks and other vehicles reached the site south of Dubai.
