PCR or rapid test requirement at some government offices in north Cyprus

The TRNC Ministry of Labour and Social Security has announced that members of the public will be required to present valid antigen or PCR tests when entering its offices.

The measure was announced due to the recent increase in locally transmitted cases.

According to a written statement issued by the ministry, all personnel working at the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and departments operating under the ministry as well as members of the public wishing to enter ministry officers or premises are now required to present valid PCR or rapid tests.

Fully vaccinated individuals will need to present a PCR test carried out in the last seven days while non-vaccinated individuals will be required to provide a negative PCR or rapid test carried out in the last 72 hours.

The same procedure applies for the Ministry of Tourism and Environment.
