Students are mostly affected by Covid-19 in the TRNC- Report

It has been determined that the majority of coronavirus cases in the TRNC in the last few days are university students.

According to a report by local media, Yeniduzen, coronavirus cases in the country were increasing rapidly while attention has been turned on the sources of these cases.

It was revealed that many people have being staying away from the use of masks and observing social distance measures in crowded places.

When we look at the distribution of one-day positive cases among the recorded positive cases, it is seen that 26 of them are students.

While 8 people working in hotels or casino-related businesses stand out, package service personnel and barber apprentices also draw attention as risky occupational groups.

According to the sources informing YENİDÜZEN, a 1-year-old baby was also found to be positive for Covid-19 on 11 July.

After students and hotel workers, housewives draw attention among the positive cases according to a single-day distribution.

Among the private sector employees, there are different occupational groups such as marketer, transporter, banker.

It is also seen that the cases in the police and soldiers are very limited.
