TRNC to begin home quarantine practice for Covid-19 positive people from Monday

The TRNC Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases has announced that individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 will be spending their recovery at home as of Monday, July 19. 

Persons who share a household will have to self-isolate at a separate home. 

If the individual who has tested positive is under the age of 18 or is in need of special care, a caretaker will be allowed to chaperone that person during the isolation period. 

The infected persons will be monitored via electronic wristbands and will not be allowed to have house guests.
