Careless and drunk driver crashed onto a car and bike in Lefkosa

The moment a drunk driver identified as Döndü Aktaş, who was driving under the influence of alcohol, crashed a car and a bike in Lefkosa was caught on camera.

The 28-year-old driver who was driving a jeep was reportedly high with 227 mlg alcohol at the time of the incident that happened at Tanzimat street, in Lefkosa on Thursday, September, 23.

As seen on the video footage of the incident, the driver who was trying to reverse the car, lost control of the steering and crashed onto a car parked behind it and the a bike parked on the wall of a building nearby before crashing into a garbage bin.

In a bid to try and move away from the mess, the driver then moved forward and crashed onto the wooden bank belonging to a pub. 

Occupants of the nearby house rushed out to see what was happening and tried to help the driver.  

No one was injured in the accident. The driver of the vehicle was arrested.
