How to travel to the TRNC without paying the required 5,400TL for hotel quarantine

How to travel to the TRNC without paying the required 5,400TL for hotel quarantine. This is only applicable for Dark Red Countries.

-First, download the app, Güven de kal before leaving your country for Cyprus.
-Set the application using a Cyprus number (Because a code will be sent to this number). For those who don't have a Cyprus number, once you arrive in Cyprus, buy a new sim card and activate the app with it or get someone in Cyprus to do it for you.
-Make payment of 750TL using the app after which you will receive a receipt and a code. Keep the receipt and show them at the airport in your country before departure. (Tell them you paid for home quarantine which also include school dormitory). The code will be needed at Ercan.
-Before boarding in your country, show your residence permit and house contract (old students), student paper (new students) and vaccine card if any.
-On arrival at the airport in Ercan Airport, North Cyprus, you will be asked to show your quarantine payment (home or hotel), the app on your phone, student paper (new students), resident permit (old students) and PCR tests not more than 72 hours.
-After all these, you will be told to activate the app and given a wrist band.
-Note the 5,400TL for hotel quarantine is optional. (You may still encounter some challenges at your home airport if the airline insist on the 5,400 hotel quarantine payment, new students are mostly affected by this), as for old returning students, your 750TL payment, resident permit and house contract will do.

-Also if you have a transit visa, you can bypass the payment using other airlines.

-For those who have no other way to avoid this payment, especially new students, you can share a hotel room with another student and pay less.
-For new students who may need more explanation on this, please contact your various study agents.
The above information may not represent 100% reality on ground and is subjected to changes at anytime depending on any decision taken by the government of TRNC.
