TRNC Health Committe announces new decisions

The TRNC Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases has announced its latest Covid-19 measures in light of the latest epidemiological situation.

According to the measures, the test requirement for entry into many establishments has been lifted. PCR test requirements for employees of various sectors has also been lifted and replaced with rapid test requirements.

According to the latest decisions, vaccinated employees will be required to carry out a rapid test every 21 days while unvaccinated employees will be required to carry out a rapid test every seven days.

Unvaccinated persons will be required to present a negative PCR/rapid test carried out in the last 72 hours to enter restaurants, taverns, patisseries, cafes, barbers/hairdressers, beauty salons, supermarkets, malls and banks. No tests are required of vaccinated persons.

Vaccinated persons will be required to present a negative PCR/rapid test carried out every 7 days when entering gyms, hotels, casinos, bars, clubs, youth camps, weddings and night clubs.

Unvaccinated persons will be required to present a negative PCR/rapid test carried out in the last 72 hours when entering such venues or establishments.

Persons travelling to the TRNC will be required to obtain an Adapass safe pass. All passengers arriving in the TRNC via air and sea will be required to fill in a passenger form on the Adapass website (adapass.gov.ct.tr).

Passengers will be able to enter the TRNC with the QR code provided once the form is filled and submitted. Persons who fail to obtain a QR code will not be allowed entry into the TRNC.
