Two people arrested for issuing fake Adapass for unvaccinated people

Two people, a Turkish Cypriot woman and a police officer who were helping many unvaccinated people obtain Adapass illegally has been arrested.

The incident happened between February and September. Police said, 8 more people were wanted in connection with the incident.

It was determined that one of the suspect identified only as C.M, who worked at the Global Development Training and Consultancy Company, to register to the vaccine information system, enabled many unvaccinated people to register with the vaccine information system and issue Adapass to them even though they were unvaccinated.

It was announced that the suspects, who was brought to court on Wednesday, obtained financial benefits in return for this transaction, staged official documents and continued to circulate.

The suspect, who was brought to court on the charge of forging official documents, was detained for 2 days.
