Another record 306 new cases of coronavirus reported in TRNC on Wednesday
Another record number of coronavirus cases were recorded in northern Cyprus on Wednesday, November, 17, 2021 as 306 new cases were reported bringing the total number of cases there so far to 25,256.
18,222 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours and 306 new cases were confirmed.
On Tuesday, a record number of 220 cases were recorded.
1 of the cases came to the TRNC from abroad, 49 persons came in contact with previous cases who are under surveillance, and 256 were local cases.
Of the cases, 103 were from Lefkosa, 57 from Kyrenia, 78 from Famagusta, 1 from Güzelyurt, 2 from Lefke, and 11 from Iskele.
167 people were discharged from the hospital after completing treatment.
