Congolese national deported from North Cyprus dies in Istanbul Airport after falling ill

A Congolese national who was deported from Northern Cyprus and was at the Istanbul Airport via a connecting flight to Congo reportedly fell ill while in the airport and died.

According to report, the Congolese national identified only as P.M.V who was at the Istanbul Airport via a connecting flight to Kinshasa, Congo had swallowed some drug capsules and fell ill after the drugs exploded in his stomach.

He was rushed to a medical center but died despite all interventions.

The incident happened on Wednesday.

Medics said drugs were found in his intestines, which was thought to have spread as a result of the explosion of the capsules.

His arrival at the removal center, getting sick and being taken to the hospital were captured on the airport security cameras.
