Dust warning: Dust from Middle East will pollute the air for 3 days

The TRNC Meteorology Department has announced that dust particles transported from the Middle East will be in the atmosphere for three days starting from Wednesday.

In it's statement, the department, said "Dust particles transported over the Middle East are expected to create air pollution in our region, so citizens who are sensitive to dust are advised to be cautious."

Dirty and dusty air is expected to calm down across the Island after midnight on Saturday, November 13.

There was strong winds across the island on Wednesday.

7 flights to Ercan were affected by the winds which also caused a lot of destruction in the country.
