Monday is public holiday as TRNC celebrates it's 38th anniversary
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) will celebrate it's 38th anniversary on Monday, November, 15.
The 38th anniversary of the republic, which was proclaimed on November
15, 1983, will also be a national holiday, meaning public offices and
banks will be closed for the day.
The day will be celebrated with a variety of events across the country.
Celebrations will kick off at noon on Monday with an address to the nation by President Ersin Tatar on Bayrak Radio Television.
At the same time a 21 gun salute will take place.
Some major routes in Lefkosa and other parts of the country will be closed to traffic.
As part of the celebrations, the Turkish Air Forces Aerobatics Team, Solo Turk, will perform above the skies of Girne on the day.
