Some areas in Lefkosa and Kyrenia will experience 5 hours power cut on Wednesday, Güzelyurt and Lefke affected too

The Turkish Cypriot Electricity Authority (Kıb-Tek) has announced that there will be about five hours power cuts in some regions in Lefkosa and Girne, and about three hours in some regions in Güzelyurt and Lefke.

According to a statement by the Kıb-Tek Lefkosa Regional Directorate, there will be no electricity in the Dumlupınar region around Halson Petrol between 9.00m and 4.00pm on Wednesday due to the project work to be carried out on the medium voltage electricity network.

On the same day, there will be power cut around Haspolat Airkam Ltd, Scrapmakers Area and its surrounding water wells between 9.00am-10.00am due to the project work to be carried out on the medium voltage electricity network in the Lefkosa region.

As for the Kyrenia Regional Directorate, tomorrow, electricity will not  be provided in Boğazköy inner-village area, Lefkosa-Girne Highway, Bosphorus Junction Area, Giftm Water Area, Pınarbaşı, Kömürcü, St. Hilarion Region, GKK Headquarters Region, Ağırdag Region, Dikmen entrance and Mandıralar region between 9.00am - 4.00pm due to the project work to be carried out on the high voltage electricity network.

Güzelyurt Regional Headquarters also announced that there will be power cuts in some regions in Güzelyurt and Lefke between 10am-1.00pm hours due to the replacement of the broken pole in the medium voltage electricity network. Also affected are Güneşköy, Aydınköy, north of Aydınköy, Aydınköy-Gaziveren Road and its surroundings.

Electricity will not be provided to Gaziveren, Gaziveren Water Motors, Gaziveren Football Field area and Doğancı Junction, Mümtaz Rest., Gaziveren Tepe Mah., Aphrodite Site, Seagirt Site, Livadya Rest., Çiftlikevi Rest., a part of Gaziveren and the facilities and water engines in the region between 10:00am-1:00pm; due to the work of replacing the broken pole in the medium voltage electricity network on the same day.
