Two injured in accident near Bosphorus

Two people were injured in an accident that took place near the Bosphorus Picnic area on the Kyrenia - Lefkosa Main Road on Saturday.

The accident occurred at about 1:30 pm when 22-year-old Aydın Neni who was driving towards Bogazkoy lost control of the ice-pickup truck and crashed into the curbstones on the right side of the road.

Aydın Neni, and 28-year-old İmam Meriç, who was a passenger in the vehicle, were injured in the accident and taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The accident disrupted traffic for a long time until the vehicle was lifted by a tow truck from the middle of the road.
