Student stabs friend in Famagusta

A student took laws into his hands and stabbed his friend causing him serious injuries.

The suspect committed the brutal act on Monday in Famagusta, north Cyprus.

According to report, the suspect reportedly stabbed his flatmate in the abdomen with a knife. There was however no history of misunderstanding between them before the incident.

The suspect was later identified and arrested by the police. 

The victim who was badly injured in the incident was taken to the intensive care unit of the Famagusta state hospital.

Police said its investigating the incident.
