Three injured in vehicle collision in Girne

At least three people were injured in an accident that happened as a result of collision between two vehicles, in Girne.

The accident between two vehicles, a car and a pickup truck happened early Friday morning on the Girne-Alsancak round about. 

According to police report on the incident, the accident occurred as a result of carelessness on the part of a 22-year-old driver who lost control of the vehicle while driving near the Girne overpass, from the Zeytinlik (Ezic) traffic lights. It then crashed unto a pickup truck driving in the same direction in front of it.

The two vehicles were thrown off the road due to the impart of the collision.

Three people in the two vehicles were injured in the accident and taken to the hospital for medical attention.
