Zim man pulls 8 people out of burning bus, hailed as a hero

A Zimbabwean man has been hailed as a hero after pulling 8 people out of a burning bus that killed 4 people.

The hero identified as Sirizani Butau, a truck driver put his life at risk in trying to save people from a burning bus. 

The incident happened in Mutare, Zimbabwe on Friday, December, 24. The bus belonging to Beta Private Limited in Zimbabwe collided with a tanker and caught fire.

While rescuing passengers, Sirizani Butau sustained serious injuries. He is currently at the hospital receiving treatment and donations are pouring in for him.

Over four people have been confirmed dead in the accident by the Zimbabwe police force.

But for Sirizani's intervention, there would have been more casualties.

The 8 people he pulled out are the only survivors.

Zimbabweans on social media have been hailing Sirizsni, calling him a hero, and expressing willingness to donate to him.
