Students who couldn't complete their permit process before traveling can return before March, 30 without any problem

University students in the TRNC who were not able to complete their residence permit process before traveling out of the country can be able to return to the country until March, 30.

This was made known by the TRNC Ministry of Interior, Immigration Department in a publication made on Saturday.

The publications states as follows;

“Due to the overcrowding caused by the current Covid-19 epidemic in our hospitals, it has been determined that a large number of university students will travel or exit the country before completing their permit processes.”

Our Ministry of Interior Immigration Department evaluated the situation of university students who were registered in the 2021-2022 academic year and could not complete the student permit procedure when they exited the TRNC. It has been decided that they will be allowed to enter the country for once until 30 March 2022, provided that they are warned to complete the process immediately, and that those who do not get their student permits until 30 September 2022 will be allowed to leave the TRNC.
