The TRNC Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases has announced a new decision

According to the new rules;
the quarantine period
for people coming from dark red countries,which was previously determined as 14 days  has been reduced to 10 days.

And also; If the PCR tests of people who test positive for COVID-19 are negative, they will be able to return to their normal lives at the end of the 7th day. During this period, people with a positive PCR test will be tested again at the end of the 10th day, and if the result is negative, the quarantine process will be completed.

On the other hand, if people who are in quarantine with a COVID-19 positive person are incompletely vaccinated or unvaccinated, PCR testing will be requested after the 7-day quarantine period, while antigen testing will be requested from these people according to the new application.
