Three Turkish men arrested for illegally entering an apartment in Esentepe
Three people were arrested in Esentepe for robbery and drug possession while one person is wanted by the police.
The incident took place at about 1:30am on Monday, January, 24.
The three suspects identified only as M.T, 33, H.S, 24, B.C.Ş, 24 and S.F, 28 illegally broke into the apartment through the window.
According to report, when inside the apartment, they kicked the door of three locked rooms opened.
After deliberately damaging the door of the room, they took the mobile phone of a Zimbabwean woman for trying to call the police on them and broke it. They threatened her with violence too before leaving the apartment without taking anything.
The woman and her husband, a Nigerian reported the incident to the police which led to their arrest. One of them is still on the run.
In the further investigation carried out regarding the issue, a substance believed to be a cannabis type drug weighing approximately 14 grams was found in the search conducted at the residence of one of the suspect in Bostancı.
We reached out to the woman whose apartment was robbed and she said the suspects actually entered a wrong apartment.
She said she was not sure who they were looking for as they entered the wrong apartment.
They took her phone and broke it for trying to call the police on them.
They were caught after the issue was reported to the police.
There were other people in the apartment too when the incident happened.
