Another increase in the price of fuel in North Cyprus

There are plans by the government of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to increase the price of fuel in the country again.

The Fuel Unit, which determined the price for fuel prices once a week, submitted its proposal to the Council of Ministers.

According to report, the Council of Ministers is set to discuss an increase of 1 TL 10 Kurus for 95 Octane Unleaded Gasoline and 98 Octane Unleaded Gasoline, 1 TL 11Kurus for Euro Diesel.

It is expected that the new prices will come into effect as of midnight tonight after they are approved by the Council of Ministers and published in the Official Gazette.

The suggested prices are as follows:
95 Octane: 13.70 TL
98 Octane: 13.94 TL
Euro Diesel: 13.56 TL

Fuel prices were last increased on January 27, 2022.

At the time, 95 Octane was increased to 12.60 TL, 98 Octane was increased to 12.84 TL, Euro Diesel was increased to 12.55 TL and Kerosene was increased to 12.67 TL.
