Careless driver injured in accident in Gonyeli, crashed a speed limit camera

A 24-year-old international student in North Cyprus is currently receiving treatment for injuries she sustained as a result of an accident she had in Gonyeli on Saturday night.

The student was driving on the Atatürk Street at around 10:15 pm on Saturday when she lost control of the vehicle and in the process ran over a speed limit camera on the side of the road which caused the car to land on its roof.

She was rushed to the Lefkosa General Hospital where she was being treated for her injuries.

Police said she was driving carelessly when she lost control of the vehicle and went off the road and then hit a tree before before crashing unto a speed limit camera by the side of the road.
