Man threatens to post sexually explicit photos of ex girlfriend

A man has been accused of threatening to post an explicit sexual photos of his ex girlfriend online. 

The suspect identified only as EG was arrested on Thursday for Violation of the Electronic Communications Law.

According to police report, the incident happened in Mineraliköy, Lefkosa on November, 21, 2021.

The suspect between the hours of 1:00pm and 2:00pm on the said date, called a Whats-app number, belonging to the victim who also resides in the same place saying "You destroyed my home, it won't stay with you, you know that, right, I curse you every morning. I have your trusts in my hand. If you come my way again, I will show your trusts to everyone at your place of work, I am nothing to lose." no, you will see in the slightest mistake." 

Police said he acted against the electronic communication law by disturbing the named person by sending messages.

Police said the victim made the complaint on Wednesday which led to his arrest.

Police said what, the suspect openly stated that what he meant by the word "trusted to him" was the sexually explicit photos taken during their previous relationship.  

Police said the suspect's Samsung mobile phone was seized as evidence.  

Evaluating the testimony given in her presence, the judge released the suspect on bail. He was banned from going abroad and must report to the police once a week, present two guarantors who are credible in the TRNC to sign a bail bond of 75,000 TL each and deposit 5,000 TL in cash.
