Turkish man assaults wife

A 23-year-old man reportedly broke his wife's nose after punching her in the face during an argument in their home in Altınova.

The incident happened at about 11:30pm on Thursday.

The suspect identified only as O.Z, a Turkish national reportedly got into an argument with his wife and in the process he assaulted her, punched and choked her. This caused her nasal bone to break.

He was arrested following the incident.
