Accident on the Lefkosa-Girne highway due to spilled diesel on the road

A spilled diesel on the Lefkosa-Girne highway resulted in an accident on Thursday morning.

The incident that was caused by spilled diesel that caused the road to become slippery happened at about 8:00am on Thursday between 18-19th kilometers of the Lefkosa-Girne highway.

A vehicle driver who lost control of the wheel crashed into a steel barrier in the middle of the road. No one was injured in the accident.

The accident infuriated other drivers who demanded that the road be cleared to avoid further accidents .
