Ercan Immigration now seize food stuffs from students

It has come to our notice that the immigration at Ercan Airport no longer allow students to bring in food stuffs and other items into the country.

In the last few days, there have been countless reports of how items belonging to students are being seized at the airport.

You call North Cyprus a student friendly island and now this???

How does the government expect these students to survive in a place where there's no job and inflation is high?

At the moment, life is unbearable for students who can't afford these food items here and who are unable to pay their rents.

Please the government should have a rethink.

If universities can't help, no need accepting more students from Africa.
