Man rapes girlfriend's twin daughters in Kyrenia

A man who reportedly raped his girl friend's underage twin daughters between the period of 2020-2022 will be tried for rape.

The suspect identified only as Y.G, was arrested on Friday, March, 122 and taken to a court in Kyrenia in connection with the rape of girls under the age of 16 between 2020 and 2022.

Police said the suspect was arrested on the grounds that he raped his girlfriend's 14-year-old twin daughter.

The suspect was arrested as a result of the investigation launched after the girls complained to the school teachers that the suspect raped the 14-year-old twin girls in different periods between 2020 and 2022.

The police stated that the matter was serious and that statements were obtained from the girls, accompanied by a social worker and a psychologist.  

The court ordered the suspect to be detained by the police for 3 days for investigation purposes.
