Police finds man with gun and weeds in Famagusta

A 45-year-old has been arrested after he was found with drugs and a gun during a search in Famagusta.

The man identified only as E.Ş.Y was arrested in an operation carried out by the police on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said they found a gun, a magazine belonging to the gun and two live bullets, methamphetamine weighing 25 grams in packages ready for sale, and cannabis type drugs weighing 20 grams in the suspect's car during the search.

Police said its investigating the case.
