Snow expected in mountain areas on Friday and rain on Thursday

The TRNC Meteorology Department announced that rain and storm is expected on Thursday and snow on Friday as the region is affected by very cold weather.

According to the weekly weather forecast report of the Meteorology Department, the region is expected to be under the influence of cold and humid air mass on Thursday, and quite cold and humid air mass on the other days.

According to this, it will be rainy or heavy with thunderstorms on Thursday, it will be rainy on Friday with snow and rain expected in mountainous areas until noon, it will be rainy in some places at the weekend, and other days will be partly or cloudy.

The highest temperature will be around 16 - 19 ºC inland and in coastal areas on the first day of the period, and around 10 - 13 ºC on the other days. 

The wind is generally expected to blow from the South and West directions in the form of medium strength, occasionally strong, on Thursday and Friday, strong from the North and West directions, occasionally as a storm.
