Terrible accident in Gonyeli, 21-year-old man injured

A 21-year-old man was injured in a scary accident that happened in Gonyeli in the early hours of Sunday.

The accident happened at about 8:30am on Sunday, on Atatürk Street, close to Kolan Hospital in Gonyeli.

According to police statement, the driver of the vehicle identified as Hasan Elma lost control of the vehicle and in the process crashed unto a tree which caused the car to flip and landed on its roof.

Police said he was driving carelessly and at excessive speed.

The driver was Immediately rushed to the government hospital in Lefkosa.
