TRNC Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases announced new decisions

The TRNC Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases has announced new decisions.

According to the new decisions, people who come into contact with a Covid 19 positive person will continue their daily lives by wearing masks, even if they are unvaccinated, and will have an antigen test on the 5th and 7th day.

If people show symptoms before the days specified in their contact situation, PCR will be performed on the day, the symptom begins.

In addition, in accordance with the new decisions, AdaPass will no longer be questioned in market and outdoor sports. 

Here is the decisions;

1 - Anyone who has been vaccinated or has had the disease will be able to enter the country without quarantine and testing.

2 - Unvaccinated persons will be able to enter the country with a negative PCR done within the last 72 hours before the trip or a negative antigen test result made within the last 24 hours.

Unvaccinated people will have a Covid-19 test within 72-120 hours after entering the country.

3 - Everyone who will enter the TRNC by Air-Sea and Land must create a Digital Travel Document.

How to create a Digital Travel Document;

It should be created by downloading the Stay Safe Application within the last 72 hours before the trip or by filling in the TRNC entry form section on the www.guvendekalkktc.com website.  

Those who have a smart device can download the Stay Safe application from the Apple Store or Android Market and create a Digital Travel Document by filling out the TRNC Entry Form from there. 

Those who do not have a smart device can create a Digital Travel Document by completing the TRNC Entry Form at www.guvendekalkktc.com . 

The valid negative PCR result made within the last 72 hours before the trip should be uploaded into the TRNC Entry Form by reading the QR' code. People who do not create a Digital Travel Document QR code will not be able to enter the country. The created Digital Travel Document should be kept with them digitally or as a printout.

- Citizens of the Republic of Turkey can automatically upload their digital vaccination documents and PCR test results to the TRNC Entry Form by logging in with their HES codes. 

Person who has been vaccinated and has had the disease;

  • Persons aged 18 years or older who have not passed 14 days and 270 days (9 months) after the first dose of vaccine (Johnson) for the second dose of two-dose vaccines will be considered as vaccinated persons. 
  • Persons aged 18 and over 270 days (9 months) after the second dose (first dose for Johnson) will be considered as vaccinated if they have had reminder doses.
  • Persons aged 12-18 years (including 12 and 18 years) will be considered vaccinated if 14 days have passed since the second dose of vaccine (single dose for Johnson) without seeking a reminder dose.
  • Children under 12 years of age will be subject to their parents' entry criteria if traveling with a parent.
  • Unvaccinated children between the ages of 12 and 18 will be subject to the unvaccinated person rules when entering the country.
  • Persons who have had the disease will be subject to the rules of the vaccinated person if at least 10 days have passed but not 180 days since the positive PCR test.
  • Individuals will also be considered as vaccinated individuals if they receive two different doses of the vaccines listed below.
  • Persons who have had Covid-19 disease and have had 1 dose of vaccine, but have not passed 90 days, will be considered as vaccinated.
