Two-year-old child falls into a well in Güzelyurt

A 2-year-old child fell into a 30-meter-deep well in a garden area between Güzelyurt and Kalkanlı, on Friday morning while his parents were harvesting citrus fruits.

Hasan Hüseyin was playing when he fell into the 30-meter deep well at about 11:00am on Friday.

He was rescued by the Civil Defense and firefighters.

He was brought out of the well injured and unconscious.

He was taken to the Lefkosa State Hospital in an ambulance for treatment.

He's currently receiving treatment at the intensive care unit of the hospital.
