Two young foreigners in police custody for using fake PCR document for driving license exam

Two young foreigners are currently in police custody in Famagusta for reportedly faking a Covid-19 test results and trying to use same in a government office.

The incident happened in Famagusta on Wednesday.

The two suspects, aged 21 and 18 were found to have changed the date on a Covid-19 negative PCR test document which they had previously done in other to take their driving license exam.

Police said they gave the print out of the document to the officer in charge who noticed the fraud.

They are currently being investigated while in prison.
