Angry citizen threw eggs at Kib-tek office over high bills received for the month of March

There was drama this afternoon at Kib-Tek office in Lefkosa in which aggrieved residents threw eggs at the office over exorbitant electricity bill.

The incident on Monday afternoon by angry citizens caused tension in the area.

The citizens who were angry about the very high electricity bill received for the month of March, stormed the electric office and pelted it with eggs.

The police quickly intervened and took security measures in front of the institution.
