Unidentified person blows up bank ATM in south Cyprus

An ATM was blow with an explosive at a bank in Paphos, southern Cyprus in the early hours of Monday morning.

According to reports, the explosion device went off at around 5:00am on Monday.

Greek Cypriot police and the bomb squad arrived at the scene following the incident.

At the time of the report, it could not be ascertained if the culprits had managed to get any money.

Investigations continue.
