Two men in police net for stealing a lost wallet containing 2,100 TL in Famagusta

Two men, aged 62 and 68 were arrested for stealing a wallet containing 2,100 TL, which was dropped in front of a market in Famagusta.

The two men identified only as F.Ç, 62 and Z.Ö, 68 both of whom are Turkish Cypriot found and stole a wallet containing 2,100 TL, which was dropped in front of a market operating on 15 August Boulevard in Famagusta between 3:00pm and 4:00pm on Friday, May, 20, 2022.

Police said the suspects after stealing the money, burned the identity cards and credit cards inside the wallet.

They were identified and arrested following police investigation.
