TRNC Health Committee announces new coronavirus measures

The TRNC Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases has announced new decisions within the framework of coronavirus measures.

According to the decisions announced on Wednesday, the use of masks will be mandatory in crowded meetings and organizations to be held in closed areas.

Those who show symptoms will  need to wear a mask and carry out an antigen test.

If the antigen test result is positive, a PCR test will be carried out.

Despite having a negative antigen test result, people with severe symptoms will need to carry out a PCR test upon a doctor’s request.

People who come into contact with a Covid-19 positive cases can continue their daily lives with a mask.

If these people do not have symptoms, they will be required to carry out an antigen test on the 5th day.

However, if a person who comes into contact with a Covid-19 positive person shows symptoms before the specified time, an earlier antigen test will be required.

If the antigen test result is positive, a PCR test will be required.
