Cyprus met service issues yellow weather warning for high temperatures on Tuesday night

The Cyprus met service on Tuesday issued a yellow weather alert for high temperatures overnight.

The warning, the third of such in July will be in effect from 10:00pm on Tuesday, July, 19 to 6:00am on Wednesday, July, 20.

The service also warned of the possible health risks associated especially among vulnerable groups such as the elderly and children.

On Tuesday night the minimum temperatures are expected to drop to around 26C inland and on the eastern and southern costs and to around 25C on the western and northern coasts.
