Drunk man steals car in Lefkosa

Turkish Cypriot police have arrested a 30-year-old man for stealing a car in Lefkosa while drunk and then damaged it afterwards.

According to report, the 30-year-old man identified only as H.T, was drunk at about 3:30am on Saturday deliberately took away a car parked somewhere in Lefkosa without the consent of the owner.

The man also damaged the gearbox and rear bumper of the vehicle

Police in a statement said the suspect who was under the influence of alcohol was high with about  225 mlgr of alcohol.
