Man sentenced to 30-years in prison for raping daughter

The sentence of man accused of raping his daughter for a period of two years has been increased by a court in Lefkosia.

The man identified only as H.D. was found guilty of raping his own daughter in Alayköy for two years, from the age of 15 to the age of 17. 

He appealed his prison sentence which was rejected and then sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Between February 2016 and October 6, 2018, it was revealed that H.D. sexually harassed and raped his own daughter, in the vacant land in Alayköy and in the bedroom of his residence.

In the details in the court, it was stated that the voice recordings recorded by the girl on her phone during the moments of harassment were also taken as evidence.
