Earthquake felt in Paphos, south Cyprus on Sunday

An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale was felt by people in Paphos south Cyprus on Sunday afternoon.

The quake was felt at about 12.50pm with an epicentre some 26km off the coast.

The quake had a depth of 40km.

Residents in Emba and Peyia said they felt shaking for two minutes.

No damages have been recorded.

Earlier in the day quakes between 2 and 3 on the scale were recorded but were not felt by residents.
