Government to allow TRNC citizens enter casinos

Opposition political party deputy has revealed that the government of the TRNC has taken steps to allow TRNC citizens enter casinos.

CTP Deputy, Erkut Şahali, in his statement on his social media account on Friday, September, 23, stated that the government has taken steps to open the doors of casinos to TRNC citizens.

Şahali noted that the UBP-DP-YDP government has sent two draft bills to the Parliament, and in these bills, it is foreseen to reduce the Gaming Services Tax from 10% to 5% by admitting TRNC citizens to casinos.

Shahali explains:

“Government officials have run the ship!

With the two bills they sent to the parliament today, they opened the doors of casinos to TRNC citizens, and also reduced the Gaming Services Tax from 10% to 5%.

They prepared such a funny design that we will have a lot of fun again..!”

But the government on Saturday said it has withdrawn the bill.

The government has withdrawn the Draft Games of Chance, which includes legalizing the entry of TRNC citizens into casinos, a report by Yeniduzen stated.
