Clocks to move one hour back by October, 30 to start Daylight Saving Time

Daylight Saving Time in Cyprus and the EU will end Sunday, October, 30 at 4:00 am.

By 4:00 am on Sunday, October, 30, clocks will be turned backward by one hour.

This means that there will be more light in the morning.

The start of autumn has brought with it renewed questions about daylight saving time.

In short, nothing has changed despite efforts by the EU to scrap summer and winter time changes.

The European parliament voted to ditch the hour change back in 2019, with a poll showing that most in the bloc agreed but the change has yet to be implemented.
