Two people die in accident in Bafra, north Cyprus

Two people, aged 29 and 27, lost their lives in a traffic accident that occurred in İskele, Bafra Hotels Region on Friday evening.

The unfortunate incident happened at around 7:30pm on Friday in Bafra Hotels Region.

Oğuzhan KARAASLAN, 29 and Oktay ÖRTLEK, 27 lost their lives in the accident. They were in the same vehicle.

Police said the accident happened as Oğuzhan KARAASLAN was crossing into the opposite lane when he collided with the vehicle driven by Yusuf AYGÜN, which was on its own lane.

Oğuzhan KARAASLAN had entered the opposite lane from the direction of Noah's Ark Hotel and was driving carelessly towards Kaya Artemis Hotel round about from the opposite direction. He collided with the vehicle driven by Yusuf AYGÜN which was coming in the direction of Noah's Ark Hotel on the lane. 

Yusuf AYGÜN and İbrahim ÇELİK, 20, who were injured in the accident, are being treated at the Famagusta State Hospital, where they were taken to.
