Annual inflation rose to 114.25 percent in November

The TRNC Statistical Institute has announced the cost of living in November as 2.48 percent.

According to the data announced by the Statistical Institute, 11-month inflation rose to 86.14 percent, while annual inflation was 114.35 percent.     

In terms of main expenditure groups, the highest increase was 5.26 percent in the transportation main group compared to the previous month.

The average prices of 516 items included in the index increased, while the average prices of 63 items decreased.

The first three goods with the highest price increase; Lottery ticket (TC) with 233.33 percent, lettuce with 104.99 percent and TRNC State Lottery ticket with 87.50 percent, while the first three goods with the highest price decrease are; Gollandro with 17.30 percent, single chair (cloth covered) with 17.03 percent and broccoli with 16.90 percent.

In November 2021, inflation was 5.52 percent and annual inflation was 27.39 percent.
