Weekly traffic report: 68 accidents, 2 dead, 20 injured

Two people lost their lives and 20 people were injured in 68 traffic accidents that took place across the country in the last week.

According to information released by the Police Press Officer on Monday, 15 of the accidents that occurred between January 23-29 resulted in injury and 51 in damage, while the total amount of damage they caused was 8 million 350,500 TL.

25 of the accidents occurred in Lefkosia, 24 in Girne, 14 in Famagusta, 4 in İskele and 1 in Güzelyurt.

During the same period, 1013 traffic crimes were reported during routine traffic checks by the police across the country.
