Three men stole 17 domestic gas cylinders in Lefkosa

Three men suspected of stealing empty gas cylinders from several apartments in Lefkosa has been arrested by the police.

The suspects identified as EK, 55, MA, 21 and AH, 20 were identified and arrested on Thursday. 

Police said the suspects stole 17 empty gas cylinders (kitchen cylinders) from the gardens of 6 different houses in Lefkosaa between the period of March, 10-14.

In another news, police said it found drugs in the possession of two men in Famagusta.

The suspects identified only as ECi, 28 and WOI, 27 were arrested in an operation carried out by the teams of the Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention Directorate on Wednesday in Famagusta.

51 pills believed to contain MDMA-type narcotic, a powder believed to be MDMA-type drugs weighing approximately 250 milligrams, a substance believed to be a cannabis-type drug weighing approximately 3 grams, and a grinder believed to contain jute-type drug residues were seized from them.
