Arsenal and Chelsea have received a massive leg up in the chase for Dortmund's Henrikh Mkhitaryan, as the midfielder has reportedly knocked back a contract extension according to the Daily Mail. The Armenian international's deal runs out with Dortmund in 2017, as both the Gunners and Blues are seeking to
tempt the club into selling the play maker. His agent Mino Raiola, told a German newspaper that they'll keep considering his future, leaving Dortmund in a position where they could receive no transfer fee for him. It's also reported that Juventus are also interested in his services.

The Sun are reporting that Jose Mourinho is open to letting Daley Blind leave for Barcelona, as the Catalans reportedly have their sights on the Dutchman. With Javier Mascherano and Dani Alves on the way to Juventus, Luis Enrique is searching for defensive cover for the European giants. The report says Mourinho is completely open to the move, suggesting that he would have been shipped off regardless of Barcelona interest.

Tottenham are hot on the heels of Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette, but according to the Mirror will face a steep fee in trying to court the star to London. Tottenham opened talks with a fee around £24 million pounds, with steep competition from West Ham and Paris Saint-Germain. However, Lyon are pushing for closer to £30 million for the French international, with the club's president Jean-Michel Aulas setting up an end of June deadline for any move. Lacazette scored 23 teams in Ligue 1 this season, as the report says Lacazette is open to a move to the London club.

The Sun are reporting Watford's Troy Deeney is set to be earmarked as Harry Kane's cover, as Spurs and Mauricio Pochettino try to get a deal done for the striker. The North London club is looking to add depth to their squad considering the Champions League campaign ahead of them, with Pochettino impressed by Deeney's work rate and ability to hold up the ball this season for Watford. The 27 year old also found the net 13 times, and would be the man taking the weight of Harry Kane's shoulders in what should be a long season ahead for Spurs.
